The New Bournes are a new junior roller derby league for 9 -17 year old girls and boys. We are based in Eastbourne and cover the whole of Sussex. Our Sessions are held on Tuesday evenings in Hastings, between 7:30pm and 8:30pm and £4.00 per session (first session free) The New Bournes are borne out of the Bourne Bombshells - our mother league - watch out for visits from guest coaches from the Bourne Bombshells and other leagues.

Roller derby is a great way to keep active. Its a full contact sport that requires protective gear and we will teach you all you need to know about falling over safely and stopping quickly. We have a qualified skating instructor on hand for all skating abilities from novice to expericenced, as well as our two experienced rollerderby skaters/coaches at the helm

If you haven't got quad roller skates or pads we might be able to lend you what you need, but please let us know in advance.

 

We are DBS/CRB checked and have undergone Child safeguarding training.
